This is the last week left before the presentation of the web site.
For the whole week we was quite calm about the project, because there was just really few things to do. On Friday we have suddenly found out, that we have lost the remade the old not edited one, unfortunately because of me: I have lost the memory card with all the information.
I had to remake it, it didn't take long, but fell shame for my irresponsibility.

Week 11
We are getting closer to the final presentation of the web page.
The work is going on, discussion on the Facebook Web-design project group is happening, but still we don't have nothing special to do: waiting for the background drawing from the designers.
In the end of the week we have finally got long-expected background and linked home page with all the others, but so far didn't fill them with information.

Week 10
So far the work on the web-site doesn't bother me very much, because I have nothing to do till I get all the materials from the designers and writers and so on. So the only my task is to develop my programing skills and possibilities.
We are working on it, checking how to put videos from Youtube on a web-page, how to make click-able buttons on drawings and some details and other techniques, that can be useful for the working with the task.
As well we have installed the parameters for the designers for the drawings.

week 9
The web-site was presented and forgot, as we had to start working on our BAAM web-page. The task requires more attention: we are in a competition now with the other group.
So this day we have divided into departments according to what our task for the web-cite creation is: design, photo, structure etc. I have got into the programing and photography department.

Week 8
I had really few time to make the mid-term page.
I couldn't invent any interesting idea as I wanted.
Actually I had some, but they seemed to be as difficult or even more as the 'Inspire-me' page.
So I had nothing to do but to make a page about a band I like, doesn't matter how much hackneyed the idea is.
The Current favorite band (except for the permanent ones) is Russian Red.
The task doesn't seem to be challenging now: to collect information, photos, links and other materials and to arrange on a page in a standard way.
A battle with unwillingness to design something so much ordinary, was substituted with a battle with the program.
I couldn't invent any interesting idea as I wanted.

7th week
This week is a total frustration for me.
We are working on our web-sites.
Accurately talking, everybody does except for me: I have changed my mind and not doing the 'inspire-me' website.
The thing is that even though I have a lot of materials, it is impossible to structure all of them. After creating about 5-6 additional sections for different topics or medias I understood, that I have about 12 sections with only 1-2 links or pieces of information on them. I understood, that it may continue till I will finish all the pages in the network and gave up.
As well I have got sick of mt design and cannot stand this drawings anymore.
Sad, but unfortunately I have to beat my brains about what to make the page again.

6th week
The deadline is getting closer and closer, and I have already started to work on my web-site. I was actually inspired by a program 'stumble', installed on my browser.
The purpose of the program is literally surfing in the net, visiting pages the program proposes to you according to the interests you have defined beforehand.
In a while I have collected some pages and started working.
The design for the backgrounds was totally made in a Scribbler - drawing on-line program. I really liked the technique and the result. After finishing a drawing I added colors in Photoshop, thus making it interesting. Although all the pages have different drawings on the backgrounds, they are united by style.
Thus is for example is the home page.
Now I am working on structure of the portal, trying to arrange all the array of information logically. Decided to divide all they info into 2 categories: positive and negative, according to the reaction of people I expect.

Good thing to make on the web-site I think is to construct it's map, thus people could easily understand where they are and how can they get to a desired location: it is what I am personally missing on mist of the sites.
An entertaining idea is to throw about some buttons on the pages. This way users, entering the site, will be involved in an interactive game: they will look for the buttons all over the site, and the buttons will forward them to some cool, scary, exciting, entertain, curious etc. materials, in complete random random, thus creating an effect of surprise: pictures or videos, positive or negative etc.
The work is going on nevertheless, I start putting information into categories. I have decided on the media division: videos, pictures, games, articles etc.

this day we was learning how to make links, hyper links, links from pictures - thumbs etc. not a pleasant thing for me was that i have to control the size of the picture before putting it on a page: otherwise it will behave differently on other computers. thereby I had to deal with pixel-counting and picture-measuring.
One more topic-connected point is that all the monitors are of different definition, this means, that even a perfect looking page will look clumsy in case it gets to a screen with different parameters and definition.

Third class
We was given a task thins time to start thinking about a web-site to make ourselves as a midterm test. The subject of the website was not limited by any restrictions and we was able to choose whatever we want.
Going on working in the Dreamweaver exploring more possibilities of the program.
The most interesting function for me was an ability of the program to do exactly opposite thing than I want.

This week we started to learn how to make web-sites with Dreamweaver.
This seems to be way easier than typing everything yourself in html.
How I feel better, trying to make a web page, but it still challenging for me.
What was really unexpected for me is that a web page is a simply a table with inserted text, pictures and other tables.
The way of arranging a page with a help of tables i interesting, but a bit hard to understand, and as far as it seemed too difficult for me, I have decided to find out are there some other ways to do it.
It was actually the first thing I have done when I came back home from class.
I discovered, that there is an insert-able 'window'. You go to Insert >> Layout objects >> AP Div and as a result get an element on the working space you can move all over the page in order to put an abject wherever you want.
Thanks to the discovery most of the times I managed to avoid using tables)
